My first Franchise Euphoria podcast is now live!  Below is information about my fantastic first guest, Michael Kawula!

Mike’s passion has always been around entrepreneurship. He worked his way through college as a full time student while working full time running an insurance office.  He made the local insurance office into the top producing office in the region within 2 years.

After graduating college with a Marketing & Finance Degree,he headed off to work on Wall Street in the investment community for 7 years.  He spent his last 2 years working for an internet start-up acquired by AOL before becoming Self-Employed.

With a strong passion to own his own business, he purchased a Franchise. This franchise trained him to consult others in buying franchises and allowed him the time to learn about all the different franchise models.  Mike knew the quickest way to grow was going where the buyers were so he got into the 3 largest Outplacement firms in the New York City area. He ran entrepreneurial classes for those who had just received severance packages and showed them franchising as an opportunity.

Ultimately, he ended up buying a cleaning franchise that he grew to a million dollar franchise with 35 employees and sold in 2012.

During this time in 2008 he also started an online retail store selling office and cleaning supplies that was ranked by Inc. Magazine as the 144th fastest growing company in 2012 and became a multi-million dollar store.
